Flexible Re-roof Solutions
Whether you are building new or re-roofing, Butler systems are flexible enough to fit your needs:
Low Profile Metal Over Metal Re-roof Application
The Low Profile Retrofit Metal over Metal System allows for the efficient installation of an MR-24® Standing Seam Roof System over an existing through-fastened rib type roof with an existing minimum roof slope of 1/4" /12" and major corrugation heights of 1-1/2" or less.
The MR-24 roof panels used on this system are permanently seamed together with a full 360° "Pittsburgh" double lock seam to assure weather-tightness and long-term performance with minimum maintenance expense.
The retrofit MR-24 roof clips, installed in predrilled holes, securely attach the roof panels to the existing supporting structurals with stainless steel tabs rolled formed into the panel seam. The clip design will accommodate expansion and contraction forces in buildings up to 500 feet wide.
Panel support blocks rest on the flat of the existing panel and provide a bearing surface to transfer loads through the flat of the MR-24 roof panel to the existing structurals.
The Low Profile Retrofit Metal over Metal System includes a complete line of accessories (seamed-in curbs, stainless steel gutter, etc.) designed to fit perfectly with the MR-24 roof system.
Butler® Slope Build-Up Re-roof System
The Slope Build-Up Re-roof System is a versatile retrofit structural solution designed to enable the efficient installation of two Butler exclusive standing seam roof systems over an existing flat roof or one with minimal existing slope.
The MR-24® Roof, a structural standing seam roof system designed for low-slope applications starting at l/4" /12", is installed on pre-punched structurals to maintain proper panel alignment and insure weather-tightness.
The system also accommodates the versatile VSR™ architectural roof system designed for higher slope applications where the roof plays a predominant role in the building's appearance.
