Why CCC Installs The MR-24 Roofing System

7 Reasons Why The MR 24 Roof Is The Best System

Whether you are building new or re-roofing, repairing or replacing your current roof, Butler MR 24 roof systems are flexible enough to fit your building’s needs. Here are 7 great reasons you should learn more about the MR 24 roofing system.

#1: Longevity

Butler Standing Seam Roofs have been in place for over a quarter of a century. Recent surveys confirm that these roofs can withstand decades of harsh sun rays, heavy rains, snow, ice and extreme temperatures without requiring any major maintenance, much less replacement. Twenty-year-old surveyed roofs were projected to last well into the future. What other roof can boast of low-maintenance, weather-tight performance?

    #2: Flexibility

Whether you are building new or re-roofing, Butler systems can fit your needs. That includes everything from flat roofs to a variety of slopes — even steep-pitched roofs. CCC has re-roofed buildings with complex roof geometry, as well as multiple buildings connected together into a single complex. Also, by adding pitch with Butler’s fully engineered structural slope build-up system, our standing seam roofs can be installed directly over many existing flat roofs. In fact, most roofs can be retrofitted without interruption to daily business operations.

    #3: Durability

Butler roof systems are engineered to last. Constantly changing temperatures cause a roof to expand and contract thousands of times each year. While this action can rack and pull apart many ordinary roofs, Butler roof systems are specifically engineered to allow for this natural thermal movement and provide long-term weather-tight performance. Wind and weather are no match for a Butler roof system.

    #4: Affordability

Many people are surprised to discover that the Butler long-term solution is comparable in price to many short-term fixes.

Your savings are magnified when you consider the improved energy efficiency that comes with the addition of new insulation. You can also save the cost of removal and disposal of existing roof materials by installing a new slope build-up roof system right over an old roof. Life-cycle cost comparisons prove that a Butler roof — whether it’s a new roof or a retrofitted re-roof — is extremely cost effective.

    #5: Complete System Design

Your roof is only as good as its weakest detail or component. With Butler Roof Systems, every aspect of your roof — from ridge to eaves, trims and flashings, interior or exterior drainage, roof openings and accessories — has been designed to work in unison to form a total system that provides an overall protective shield.

    #6: Aesthetics

A new roof can dramatically change the appearance of a building. Butler can add color, provide a mansard, or change a roof pitch and give your entire building a facelift. With Butler, you’ll find beauty and performance combined, thanks to precise engineering and professional installation.

    #7: Reliability

The worldwide leader in metal roof systems, Butler Manufacturing introduced the modern standing seam roof in 1969. Since that time, the MR-24 roof system has been installed on well over two billion square feet of buildings all over the world. It is specified more than any other standing seam roof, according to a U.S. Steel survey of construction specifiers and Architectural Record magazine readership.

    Elevate / Renovate / Transform

photo of before and after at Fry Steel

CCC has a Special Projects division that covers renovations, facility improvement and retrofit work: we take old buildings and Elevate / Renovate / Transform. We had the pleasure of working with Fry Steel recently to undertake a building transformation project.

Based in Santa Fe Springs, California the customer decided to open a location in Ohio. They purchased an older, out of date facility that they wanted to make new. CCC worked to complete approximately 6,000 SF of interior renovations. These include new office, training room, shipping and receiving areas, along with locker and breakroom. CCC found a local interior designer to work with the customer in order to provide state-of-the-art, upscale finishes. Building exterior renovations are also complete. This includes paint, gutters and paving work. New garage doors, windows, lighting, signage and landscape.

Justin Platt, Principal, heads up our Special Projects division working closely with Phil Beatty, who manages all of the work . Both Justin and Phil bring exceptional client service and construction skills to every job. CCC understands that renovating while you are open for business is challenging, and we know how to do it. We would love to be a part of your team as you grow.

    Epic Flight Academy Is Completed

    New Flight Academy Is Open

CCC began building the Epic Flight Academy with a groundbreaking event on April 17, 2023. One year later, the facility is complete and the first group of students were welcomed. Located at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, the academy will allow the number of people working in the area to consistently grow. The academy will give about 300 students the opportunity to become certified aircraft mechanics through it’s 18 month program.

The 32,000 SF academy includes 15,000 SF of shop space and training area, and 17,000 SF of classrooms, finished office space, restrooms and lunchroom. The facility is a Butler® pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) with a MR-24 metal roof. Cincinnati Commercial Contracting is a Butler Career Builder® which gives us direct access to all of Butler Manufacturing’s premier PEMB and conventional building systems, but also a dedicated team of engineers who closely collaborate with us on every detail in the design of your building.

    New Italvibras USA Facility

    Butler® PEMB Building

CCC completed the new 30,000 SF Italvibras facility, a Pre-engineered Metal Building (PEMB) located in Hebron, Kentucky. The MR-24 roof is also a Butler® product, and we believe it is the best metal roof available. The interior walls are a combination of masonry block and standard shadowall metal panels. There are 3,120 SF of finished space inside the facility that includes conference, storage and shop room areas plus private offices and a breakroom.

The facility will manufacture and distribute industrial vibration systems. Italvibras USA is a division of Italvibras, and Italian manufacturing company, with facilities in six countries. The nearly 27,000 SF warehouse space includes four docks.

    Industrial Facility Construction

CCC has over 40 years of experience in constructing spaces for industrial facilities and warehouse spaces. These can be complex buildings that need both pleasing interior offices and customer spaces as well as warehouses where products are manufactured. Multiple docks, cranes and distribution systems and add up to many moving parts. In order to ensure the success of every project, we know that communication is critical. From the first client meeting to the final walkthrough you will receive constant and valuable communication from CCC.

    Butler® Reroof

    CCC + MR-24 Roof System

From metal buildings to metal-over-metal reroof solutions, CCC is proud to be your local single-source provider for Butler® Manufacturing Company, the nation’s oldest and largest manufacturer of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) systems.

    Reroof With No Downtime

If your current metal roof is failing, CCC can install the MR-24 reroof system over your existing roof, with no downtime for your business. That’s what we did for David Brinkman at Frank’s Heavy Collision, who said they had “absolutely no problems.” You can hear his interview here. Check out more metal roof and building projects here.
